According to my brother-in-law, who spent several years in Quito, Equador (which is right on the equator) the city is so high in the mountains that they have all four seasons every day. Spring in the morning as the sun warms everything up, summer during the day with the sun high in the sky, fall in the evening because the air’s too thin to hold the heat as the sun goes down, and then winter at night because there’s no direct heat.

Not much of anything since it is too hot and humid for most clothes. But your skin will burn and you will be reduced to a cute melanoma.

Jeri’s right. Winter stinks. Here we are, a week before Spring, and the NWS is calling for twelve to eighteen inches of snow1!
