Um…let’s see…how old is Jeri? When is this strip supposed to be taking place? If they were in college, they’d both be pushing 60 now!

I actually remember the storm of ’78. The entire state of Delaware shut down.

Nobody called it the “ice storm of ’78”. It was always called “Blizzard of ’78”. I remember having to dig a tunnel in the snow so that our miniature Cocker Spaniel could go outside to “do her business”. (NH)

I spent that day, jump starting cars all day. after I unstuck the doors of my car.

I remember shoveling a path so that our toy Poodle could do her business.

I went out and mowed the grass wearing short sleeves in Houston.

Hugh has that look in his eye again.

I’m thinking that this particular story is a rerun from about 25-30 years ago.
