I got lucky in this. My two older brothers had to pick one day a week to buy the school lunch, the other 4 days they took lunch from home. By the time I got to 7th grade the parents were tired of making lunches and I got to have the school lunch every day. Our school had good lunches too not like the slop they serve these days.

Our school lunch plan, you only pay for what the student actually purchases. If she doesn’t pick a lunch, she doesn’t pay for it.
