Looking at the latest elections, I prefer “no comment”

when women were trying to get the right to vote the argument the men had was that women would just vote for the best-looking man

Kinda makes me wonder how Ross Perot would have done if he had looked and sounded like Clark Gable.

When Alan Simpson was running for President, SNL did a straw poll and played ZZ Top’s “Sharp-Dressed Man” when they showed footage of Simpson. Predictably, the straw poll was won by ZZ Top.

It is so sad that even 10+ years later, TV pictorial political reporting hasn’t changed that much as opposed to a written story, which not to many people might (or ought) to read.
