Forced labor for someone else’s profit? Isn’t that the definition of slavery?
I’m old enough to remember when we would raise money for our class in school this way. People would bid on someone from the class to work/do chores for them on a certain day. We called it a slave auction. Not exactly a PC name now. ;)
