Declawing a cat is taking away their weapons.
So, she’s like a big red cat.
Front declawed cats can still climb trees. My parents had several indoor-outdoor cats that were front declawed. They still brought home mice and birds, climbed fences and trees, chased off neighborhood cats and racoons, etc.
Declawing is actually deknuckling. It’s cutting off the first knuckle on every toe.
Exactly! And declawed cats are more likely to bite because their first line of defense is gone.
I had a cat with her claws climb up on my shoulder and down my bare back. Of course I was bathing her at the time.
Too true— our Tiger bites holes in sheets, sweaters. the couch…..
