My older daughter is all about cute outfits, hair & makeup. My younger one has only worn makeup twice: once for her middle school semi-formal, and once for her senior prom. She’s more casual, but she DOES know to dress up for an occasion and doesn’t mind wearing skirts.
No matter how much I pled or threatened or what rewards I promised, neither of my kids would let me get their hair styled or put on cute dresses and shoes. Maybe I should have had daughters.
