I remember thinking that my parents’ 25th anniversary was a big deal (I was almost 11). My siblings & I threw them a lovely surprise anniversary party. That was only scratching the surface tho: when my mother died in 2018 my parents had been married for 67 years. My husband & I will be celebrating our 39th next weekend, so 25th doesn’t seem so big to me anymore. LOL

I’ve been married 55 years, just had to add two marriages together to get there.
