Nothing. I’m at work. But when I get home tonight, I’ll watch The Avengers TV show from the Emma Peel set and then the second movie in the series of Doctor In the House movies.
Right now I am watching Good Morning America and I say to all you Americans – Good Morning! Remember when the first remotes came out with the long cords that we occasionally tripped over?2old – I enjoy watching Last Comic Standing but not those other ones. I can’t handle that much culture. Shirl Summ – I feel your pain. GROG! – I love the Avengers. GET BACK TO WORK!
Actually (back in 1952) my chair was about a foot from the screen, and the screen was 8" so I jcould just lean over. The TV came on at 5pm with the intro screen, test pattern, Time for Beanie, Hopalong Cassidy, and then I went to bed, I think the news was next, then a program or two and it went off at 10pm. KTLA in Los Angeles.
And where is Susan to “chim in on this”? And bev, Adventures in Paradise? Thanks for the BLAST from the past! :-) I forgot about that one, but watched it all the time! I grew up watching what my parents watched for the most part, and I can’t say they made any bad choices!

On the plus side there were only three channels, so you didn’t have to get up but once every half hour or so.
