I am not calling you a liar, sir.. Zero times I'm only saying I would like to check our records.. Really.. Cuz I can't believe that sense 1907, a lab has never won our best in show. Westminster kennel club Oh, it's true. Zero times
I am blessed with 3 wonderful dogs. A Yellow Lab, a Basset Hound and a Dachshund. None of these breeds have ever won Best of Show… Yet, I don’t care! They are all Best of Show to me. LOW-RIDERS RULE !!!
Daughter has two Labs, yellow named Daisy and black named Boomer and as far as this family is concerned, Labs are the best and in the rating of the best 10 dogs, Labs came in first. Just sayin’
You just have to look at the criteria. Those shows have nothing to do with what makes a wonderful dog only how well they fit a standard physical description for the breed. Saying that the lovable, fun breeds don’t win best in show is like saying Mother Theresa never won the Miss Universe pageant.
“Any dog will tell you what these prize-ribbon dogs are like. Their heads are so swelled they have to go into their kennels backwards.” — From P. G. Wodehouse’s “The Mixer – He Moves in Society” (1915)

No mutt has ever been IN the WKC dog show. Proof positive that the kennel clubs don’t truly appreciate dogs.

Scottish terriers, EIGHT winners!! Woo-hoo!! (Second only to wire haired fox terriers.)
And, yes, our last two Scotties are/were both rescues (every breed has a rescue).
