I’ll be so glad when this story arc is finished…the idea of Red sending Rover away just hurts. Why can’t Martin go instead?

I love that Mom plays along. It’s fun when they do that.

I have to agree that I’m bored with weeks of “preparing” to go to Mars. I’m surprised that the two don’t feel sad with the thought of being apart so long. A little bit ago, they both realized how sad it would be without the other when Rover wanted to take Red’s shirt to Mars for comfort. Plus soon they’ll be apart during the day when Red starts school. (Silly me, of course Rover won’t be going to Mars in a cardboard box, but the strips have been long).

I’m surprised at the lack of going after Moby Tadpole. With the way yesterday read I guess “that’s it” for him this year. That’s been a Red staple the last few years.

Parting though……… re-reading the Martin comments. He’s kind of an Eddie Haskell type.

…and don’t pee in your spacesuit like Alan Shepard.

That’s some smart Mom

Moms pretty much gives good advice all the time, which most of us realized just about the time we disregarded it, and what happen was what she had warned us about. Plus, we knew that Dad was going to administer the Corrective Action!

Did she make the astronaut suit?

This is the first time I recall ever seeing Red’s mom……has she been around before?
