Sad / happy tail story: We got one of our best-ever dogs, Torran, a Black LabxBorder collie, because his happy tail was knocking things off of tables, and his *&^%^ owners were afraid their toddler would get hurt. So they gave him to a shelter. A wonderful, incredibly smart, sweet, joyful dog who loved his people graced our home for too short a time. Rurrrrurrrrrr to you, pal, wherever you are.
Follow up to above comment. It started with a stray beagle showing up at our house. We took him in I loved that little dog. Him dying is what got us started rescuing. That’s why LD gets to me so much.
