Well, I can’t say my cats are exactly wild with delight when the fireworks start. But they are much calmer than the dogs when the Goodyear blimp happens to go over the house (Yes, it really does. Maybe twice a year.)
My cats pull table clothes off table, eat table food, tremble at fireworks but MY CATS do not climb trees, they chase the dogs up.They are good at pretending nothing happened
I offered my cats some pork roast without BBQ sauce, and they immediately presented their backs to me. I guess they wanted sauce. But there was no pleasing them after the first offense.
