I’m thinking it’s time for answers.

TrapperJohn if you think this is slow read DT. There’s a lot more people complain there. I think it’s been Uncle Walt eating all that food.

I agree this sure is slow, but today is July 6th and Gil Thorpe is still playing high school baseball for the state championship. I hope Slim Pickings doesn’t break down for long.

If you want action comics, go plead for Annie to come back (and Brenda Starr is not too bad). I love the relaxed pacing on GA. If you want action webcomics, there are tons. Here are some of my favorites:

There are many more, but those have pretty steady action. Also http://www.shinkage.com/ although it is in hiatus.

I was on vacation for Independence Day, and followed the strip and comments on my cell phone– too hard to type on that thing to join in!

Those are good tips, Stuart Gathman, but can you recommend any strips where the trolls are more interesting? I think ours have exhausted their repertoires!

slowest is dick tracy, hands down maybe the mystery munchers heard her yelling that she added her special ingredient, and went for some other kind of fast food

Don’t know much about the other three, but “Girl Genius” is excellent. The writing is engaging, the art is magnificent, and the machines would make Rube Goldberg weep with joy!
