I’ve been involved in self-publishing of a book. If you manage to do all the work yourself (writing, editing, layout, illustrations if any) it can be done practically for free. Of course, if you’re looking to publish quality work, you will then have to provide your own supply of competence in the writing, editing, layout and illustrating departments, or rely on friends or family who can help you.
My initial reaction after reading the first panel was that Betty should have stayed home if she felt that way but so far so good. I like that she picked the outfit I chose yesterday. :-)
