While today was a wonderful chuckle, what potential horrors await next week for our beloved Joel?!?! He has been missing the last several days, is without his pipe for comfort and solace, and the warden has rather nefariously suggested that Joel was “free to go” but that Joel supposedly said “he wanted to stay there” which is not believable for our hero to have said. What could the warden be up to? And, is Joel safe? And, if he DOES EVER escape the horrors of the prison, will he recover mentally & emotionally… or will he suffer emotional scars? We must all hope for the best for our friend.

Looks like an impala hood ornament on Slim’s truck. Always such nice artwork on this strip. A real Americana treasure.

Slim has had this pickup about 40 years. He got it about the time Chevrolet was selling the LUV pickup…“Light Utility Vehicle.”
