Violet, I love you! Give him a shot while you’re at it! ‘Morning, ejcapulet.
Oh gross!
Morning Marg!
How udderly disgusting!
I always thought that fifth spigot was for water.
EEWW!!!
So that’s why everything she serves tastes like sour milk.
I can do that.
Violet likes to have a little fun, and pressure wash the tough spots. What’s wrong with thar?
Now then, on more serious matters. Cleo expresses that she is a doggie gourmet, not to be trifled with:

Nice animation, you two!
I was a bit surprised i thought Cleo might take dead aim at one of them.
Love Cleo’s little eyebrow raise at the audience. “Fourth wall? We don’t need no stinking fourth wall!”

Obviously, she’s not really hungry and doesn’t want to join the Cliffords on that “Lassie”-marathon she was looking forward to for weeks after all.
The Far Side of Ballard Street.
I think that this Cleo strip is keeping in pace with today’s wild rioting, burning and looting. If you don’t like life, throw it back in life’s face…..
Even the Far Side wouldn’t go that far.
Well that was a flop – or rather plop!
Hullo, everybody… at last.
Maybe those of you arriving in the morning won’t even notice that I’m very late to welcome you, or to comment,
on the June 19th 2020 “CLEO and COMPANY” … on Sherpa.
Better than last night, when I couldn’t make it at all.
Until a few minutes ago, my connection was flaky, and GoComics wouldn’t let me on…
I’ve decided those things must be related…. ie, GoComics gets touchy if you don’t have a strong internet connection.
Cleo gets touchy if you … well, actually… if you do anything that doesn’t meet with her approval.
I don’t want to say she’s spoiled….
but if she were a leftover slice of pizza, her edges would be curled and her crust would be moldy.
And let me tell you… she’s got a LOT of crust.
Like Allen@home, I thought we were about to see dog food all over somebody’s face… and not Cleo’s.
I guess even she has a modicum of judgement… she wants to make her point without losing her ticket on the gravy train.
Yes, she’s a movie star… but even for a famous diva, life would be difficult, living alone on the street.
I could be wrong, but I don’t think a dog, even in 2020, can own a home in Ohio.
Anyhow… this is impressively smooth animation,, Nighthawks and Stel…
there must be a lot of frames in it, to create all those nuances of motion…
Cleo’s slow bending and turning, her raised eyebrows.
I love the way she walks, and plops down to sit.
The way she throws food she doesn’t like… well… not so much.
Gotta love an expressive dog.
Good Morning Ballardeers! 98,324 days of Q.
Be safe… (((((Hugs)))))
I think they’d better clean behind that couch before SusanSunshine and MontanaLady need to hide behind it during the next scary movie.
Remind me never to eat at their house! :-DGood morning Balladeers, (((((Plods))))) and Miss Susan.
I don’t think Cleo likes her new dog food.
Okay, Miss Cleo. So who’s going to clean up your mess?
Cleo’s aim was just a little bit off. She should have aimed a little bit more to the left.
