He does look oh so cute in his NASA pj’s. Check out the moon boots to leave footprints on the moon. :-)

I think some take this too seriously. It’s like a Spaceman Spiff strip – it’s all in the mind. Except here it’s in Red’s mind rather than Calvin’s.

Dang! This arc is disturbing the readers.

Apparently there are some folks who don’t fully understand Red’s wonderful imagination. There is no need at all to explain how Rover got to Mars, nor how he will get home.

It is a cardboard box after all, not as if he really left the backyard…. get a grip, folks.

Look! How cute; Rovers tail is wagging.

He’ll be just fine, wait and see…

To paraphrase the NASA transmissions we grew up hearing:.‘Mission control to Red … over’.‘This is Red answering …… over’. ’ It’s time to bring home Rover……….over.’

I hope this is just Red’s dream …

Yes, Rover’s tail is wagging…please note, that means he’s well. Knowing dogs, it should also mean that this is ROVER’s dream!

For those of us who have lost our Rover or Rovers, this is traumatic because it takes away the warm fuzzy of memory this cartoon brings and reminds us of the loss. (sniff!)

Does the rock formation look a bit like Red, or is it just me?
