No, but the magnet is. The phones do have metals (silicon, gold, aluminum, magnesium, lithium, etc.) in them though and that is why they are sticking to the magnet. The only problem is that everything that was stored on those phones (contacts, photos, ringtones, etc.) is being erased by that magnet.

My idea is to have a proximity sensor on the phones. If you’re texting or calling someone less than 20 feet away, both phones explode.
