Well, at least Bribery is smiling again (for now)!

I think Lee set up a decoy just in case Mr Bribery wanted to eliminate her.

Mr Bigg had reservations for one person. He will likely get out of there by air. Does he have an air car?I had some free time and played with the Dick Tracy Death List. Good morning, all!-“I’ll be in touch”? That sounds pretty final to me.Why do I think his getaway may include a bomb to cover his tracks?Whatever is involved sure makes him happy.

Hmmmm…this story is taking some strange twists. Where is Bribery going? Is T-Bolt really Lee Ebony? How will the rest of the Blackhearts do against Tracy and the cops? I’ll guess we’ll find out soon!

Now THIS little scenerio isn’t really making too much sense.. . why would T-Bolt, if bad, agree to just stick around and get arrested? And why would Bribery believe she’s be fine with it? That man’s ego is just plain over the top, lol

Methinks Mr. Bribery is in for a major surprise……

T-Bolt continues to interest me. Most people here are pretty sure that she’s an undercover policewoman. I’ve been thinking that way too. We saw her let Diet Smith go when she told the girls to untie him. Surely that proved she is Lee Ebony! And yet. Today we see her continuing to help Bribery even as the police and FBI are closing in. Why? If she’s Lee, why doesn’t she just arrest Bribery? Aren’t the police and FBI coming for exactly that reason, to arrest the Blackhearts? Why is T-Bolt still protecting him? What’s really going on with her anyway?

Loyal or not, she’s not too bright if she’s planning to take on Moon Maid by herself!

I think T-Bolt/Lee Ebony is doing the prudent think by letting Mr. Bigg go his way while she awaits Mysta in the hallway. The two potent ladies can then unite their abilities to ensure the rescue of the potential hostages, Smith and the girls, which is the primary goal, and then they can get on with pursuing Mr. Bigg and perhaps following him to his new hidey-hole and recovering the lost gold. Plus, T-Bolt retains her undercover identity and the possibility that Mr. Bigg will in fact contact her!

I see Mr. Bigg is showing his head-crooked-on-neck tic again, in the last panel – he’d looked quite straightened-out for a bit there.

Oh and for the record.. I hope to GOD that T-Bolt turns out NOT to be Lee Ebony so that everyone here that’s been making the comments has to swallow some crow, and if she IS Lee, then its possibly the WORST USE of a police officer ever..they KNEW where bribery was and that he was still alive and that he had the gold..but they waited til Honeymoon and Annie alerted them to act upon this information?

She’s lookin’ pretty loyal, unless she’s just wanting to be clear when he gets blasted.

If anyone is going to get blasted, it’s T-Bolt, but that’s her job as Mr. Bigg’s personal bodyguard. Even if she’s actually some undercover cop, she still needs to do her job, if only to keep up appearances. Mike is careful to keep us on the fence, too, between “she’s really a cop” and “maybe she’s not a cop, after all.” The same thing happened with whether Annie was really back in 1944 or not last year.

It just occurred to me. Perhaps Honeymoon has informed Mysta that T-Bolt is a police officer and an ally?

T-Bolt vs Moon Maid! That should be an interesting match . . . until the bell rings. T-Bolt says she’s going to “deal with” Mysta? Yeah right! She’s cocky because of her easy win over Mumbles, but she’s no match for the Bold, Beautiful, Blonde Babe in Boots. This one’s easy. Mysta in a 1st round KO!

Or will any Mysta/T-Bolt interaction become a “missing scene,” to be revealed later on, at an opportune moment?

“This much, I think we all agree on …T-Bolt has divided loyalties.”Absolutely. T-Bolt seemed to invite Blaze to get out of harm’s way. She definitely got Diet out of harm’s way. She told the girls to untie Diet and didn’t report their presence. It’s obvious from this that she has her own agenda, and that she’s one of the “good guys,” whether that makes her Lee, Tess, or maybe (maybe?) a spy for Moon Governor, or possibly someone else. What’s unclear is why she continues to help Bribery when the police are closing in on him, even to the point of (apparently at least) assisting in his escape.The idea of Moon Governor’s involvement is probably a dead end, but I’m going to keep it in mind. Hey, if Governor somehow got wind of Bribery’s invasion plans, it would make sense for him to send a spy to learn all that he (she!) could about those invasion plans. Wise governors do that sort of thing.

Here’s a wild thought …

Why is T-Bolt called T-Bolt?

While it seems likely to me that T-Bolt is actually Lee Ebony working undercover, I could certainly be wrong. If Lee is working undercover, why would she not go ahead and arrest Bribery now? For one, this would blow her cover. The optimal situation would be for Bribery to be apprehended without Lee ever having to reveal that she is Police. As long as Bribery believes that T-Bolt is his bodyguard, he is likely to leave the violence to her. Bribery does not have a weapon in hand at the moment. Still, in today’s strip Bribery and T-Bolt are separating. Is T-Bolt looking to protect Bribery or Mysta? Given that she has protected Smith, Honeymoon and Annie, my guess is the latter. While I’d welcome Lunarian involvement, I suspect this is neither the time nor the place for that curtain to rise. Still, it is an intriguing possibility, recalling the fun nature of speculation. Lest we forget, the last time Lee was working undercover, she stayed in character even as Sam cuffed her and “arrested” her.

A close encounter with an alien woman in boots! I freaking love this story.

Exactly, Gweedo. The instant poets society is gonna hurt withpout their i hr head start. I got used to it in case I get sleepy and wanna hit the hay knowing the morning’s installment. I get it here at 11 Central time. Now I gotta wait till midnight. Not worth the effort. Gotta go take care of Venus instead.
