Seems that Blaze got past her trepidations about Notta!

Notta and Blaze look kind of cozy in the first panel!

I think Neil called the Blaze cutaway yesterday.

Wow…..talk about coming out of left field…..well, at least we now know what happened to Blaze and Notta.

“…making our sererate getaways!” What about Purdy?

I thought the delivery errand might keep Blaze away from the assault, but I didn’t expect her and Notta to be watching TV.-Does Blaze really have to take off? She told T-Bolt she wanted to have her old life back, and now’s her chance.I’m surprised Notta wants to run. It’ll be pretty hard to do with Purdy being on a ventilator, unless she plans to slide him into the back of a U-Haul with a portable generator.

Blaze apparently has her life back, but where will Notta and Purdy go?

Does Notta really have to go anywhere? Seems to me, when Tracy paid her a visit, there wasn’t any accusation of breaking conditions. Unless, of course, she is expecting to be fingered by the fickle finger of blackness. Or that there will be evidence uncovered. (A distinct possibility….what was it that Blaze was delivering???)

Hope you enjoyed your martinis, ladies. Now, Notta is ready to split. If Blaze is smart (yet to be determined), she’ll go back to her “afternoon job” and not look back twice at her Blackhearts involvement….

Reasonable to think, up ahead, they’ll both have a ‘return date’ for a story-line, one with a Moonscape, hidden Gold in mind, and a Purdy Faller considerably more ‘articulate’ !

Of course getting there, means a Space Coupe from somewhere ?

Mike always knows where to ‘find one’ when needed . . .

Blaze and Notta are looking very “cozy” on that love seat. I think that Blaze actually enjoys Notta’s company, even though it makes Blaze sad that she is stuck serving the Blackhearts and can’t relax on the couch — or at least she was with the Blackhearts.

Apparently, Blaze and Notta are going to make their separate getaways, but I have a feeling they will be getting back together sometime fairly soon. In fact, it seems more likely than Mr. Bigg getting back to T-Bolt and Diet Smith.

It’s nice to see the Blackhearts have their own personalized swizzlesticks that definitely outclass the MCU’s coffee mugs. The Blackhearts believe in getting their name out; good P.R.! Sitting around all cozy-like on a loveseat watching a flat screen and sipping martinis sure beats slopping coffee in a cup that someone just set down and looking at bad guys pictures on cash register appendages,

Notta must believe the odds of discovery to her connection with the Blackhearts outweighs staying put for her and Blaze. Her flight will confirm this of course.

Maybe I’m reading this wrong, but the last two panels communicate to me that Notta is very cynical. Her friendship with Blaze was part of the good deal she had going with Mr. Big. But now that the Blackhearts are history, time for everyone to go their separate ways. “It was nice while it lasted…Good luck, my dear.” I suppose that is part of the life of a criminal.

I’m going to “guess” that when Mike decides on a time to have that story with Notta and brother Purdy, that the latter - will suddenly, gain more mobility, a considerably sharper mind, and some speech . . .Why ? His value to a future story-line might well be his Moon ‘knowledge’ (Gold Mine locations he worked, his own private ‘stashes’, he ’may’ve’ put aside for - later collection) . . .

Without access to this ‘knowledge’ and direction, (story-wise)the caring for him is just a difficult emotional problem for every move Notta Chin Chillar makes (as others have already noted).

His ‘presence’ really needs to bring “MORE” to the story - beyond - that feeling of utter “helplessness” in a Wheelchair . . .Seems the ‘emotional’ aspects have already been ‘milked dry’.

So a partial recovery ‘delivers’ a story with GREATER meaning, a good reason to visit the Moon, and a Space Coupe to get there, and 2 Moon Maids to bring the Board “alive” ! Assuming what (logically), ‘should’ be ‘locked’ in his mind, along with greater ‘freedom of movement’ now available, with the ‘absence’ of a likely hindering Moon People

A good afternoon to all my friends.-—————-Maybe Blaze will volunteer info to the police.-—————-Be healthy, wealthy and wise everyone.

Interesting first panel, indeed. Although I cannot be sure of the exact way their relationship went by that first panel, it does raise a flag in my mind. There is somewhat of a motherly feel to this by the conversation.

It does also raise questions in my mind for the future. Was Blaze or Notta turned enough by either other to push them to the side of light? Or so enthralled they will do something rather…stupid if I may be so bold?

I’m hoping that what will happen is Blaze has been taught the criminal element isn’t her and she’ll be like Mole, or Leonard. There isn’t enough reformed female criminals in the Tracy universe, including one like her.

Will Sunday’s strip be …

“Great Battle between the ‘Thunder Down Under’ and ‘Lightning Goddess of The Moon’ …?”… So to speak.

Going over the last batch of Sunday strips, the only elements not accounted for in any significant detail are Mysta, and the ambush that Mumbles and the Munro Brothers were setting up …

… The indirect fallout of which was almost certainly that fourth floor explosion last week.

So I’m guessing Mysta/T-Bolt, possibly Smith, Honeymoon & Annie on Sunday.

Isn’t Purdy back at the farm trying to get a nascar track built?

Great to catch up with Notta today.

. She consorts with criminals, but doesn’t do anything obvious to show she is one of them. An interesting concept.She’d better watch out, then. There was a woman who did exactly that in the 1950s Mr. Crime story. Her name was New Suit Nan, and she ended up with a broken neck, courtesy of her “friend”, Mr. Crime.

@ Ken in Ohio:When T-Bolt told Blaze to think hard and quickly, because she was “swimming with the sharks”, she knew exactly what she was talking about. Blaze should listen! – Although, we still are not sure, but she may have committed a murder – remember Flaky Biscuits?

Looks like Comics Kingdom fixed their glitch. The instant poets will now have their hour to juggle their rhyme, and I get an extra hour of Z-z-z-z time!

It’s certainly not in the building. It’s in another part of town. Blaze has been sent on “courier” missions to take parcels there on a regular basis.
