Alice: Look at this great picture that Petey printed out for me! Dill: What is that? Alice: It's a PANGOLIN! It looks like a pinecone, it eats ants and it curls up in a ball. Dill: I curl up in a ball when I eat ants, too! Alice: Yeah, but you look like a pin cushion.

Is it a Dill or is it a pangolin? The world awaits the answer!(Except for Beni. Bub!)

Speaking of which, Sisyphos, my existential question is whether Beni’s soccer ball went “BUB” or “BLIB.” (I believe that agruments could be advanced successfully for either viewpoint, based upon an exhaustive exegis of the font and other factors.) “BUB,” does give me a subjectively more satisfying impression of the sound a self-respecting soccer ball would make. Of course, that’s my own opinion, not supported by science.

I’m very glad to see some public awareness on pangolins. As one of the most hunted species on earth, they are in grave danger of being consumed to extinction.

I saw a pangolin exhibit at the Smithsonian in July. Very interesting. And that was very nice of Petey to print the picture for Alice!

Try again: yes, Dill looks like a pin cushion. Or did he tear his hair out because of Alice? Or do ants eat his hair? Is he that sweet?
