No, that’s not all it takes on the back of one of those big trucks. They are responsible for covering their load and making sure that there are no stray rocks sitting on the tire guards, etc. The only reason they aren’t sued more often is that most folks can’t or don’t read the truck’s license plate in time to write it down.
