Buenos Dias Loco Amigos! I made some eggs and potatoes, flour tortillas, frijoles and some salsa. We have some fresh fruit and yogurt. Grits and dry cereals. Mexican sweet bread. Pirate coffee, teas, juices and lattes. Milk, plain or flavored.

Well I am done with my bike ride. My chores today are watering and mowing, plus making dinner, but I will continue to check in. Let’s get this up and running. Like I said, I enjoyed yesterday.

Good Afternoon Ladies. I have gotten most of the watering done and LilG cut my hair, now I am off to do the same to the lawn.

Cleo, you still have to do watering after all the rain you’ve had?

For the last several days we haven’t had rain and on the lake we always have wind which dries things out fast. Plus the last couple of days have been sunny at least in the afternoon. So Carmy, LilG informed me that things needed watering. It is one outdoor task I actually kind of like. Weed whacking is another story. I am a bit leery of doing it today because my hip still hurts and I am not sure how this will effect it, but the grass is getting high.

Oh this is TOO GOOD to pass up! Oh my! ;-D

I knew you’d show up JFri. Booker’s and ribeyes are like magnets they draw you out from the farthest reaches of oblivion.

Dry crust and ketchup plus maybe a sprinkling of Kraft parmesan cheese, which is as much cheese as realemon is lemon juice.

What? RealLemon isn’t lemon juice? :-(

Does that mean RealLime isn’t lime juice?

It is real but not really. I don’t know if you can find Santa Cruz lemon or lime juice but they are organic and the next best thing to real fruit. Of course they are more expensive then realemon or lime, but worth it and Kraft doesn’t even resemble cheese in my opinion. As far as ketchup is concerned, I eat it very seldom, but in my book you can’t beat the taste of Heinz. It is the one item I eat with high fructose corn syrup, but like I said, seldom, maybe two or three times a year.

Also Nelly & Joes makes a great key lime juice.

Never saw Santa Cruz brand around here. I found a new cheese the other day, Cabot Habanero, sold in block form. Man is that stuff good! Hot, and tasty! Goes well with radishes!

Food, fabulous food. Santa Cruz makes lemonade as well and that is located in the juice section. There lemon and lime juice is where you would find realemon.

Cabot habanero sounds delicious. And okay I will set you up Dry, give me a wedge.

Well okay then. All my stash of Booker’s is for me alone.

Here you go! Be careful, it’s bitey! Do you have Cabot out your way? This Cabot is from Vermont, been making cheese for years. You can order on line from”The Vermont Country Store”, You should google them just for the heck of it. They sell a lot of NEAT things, a lot of things from back in our day, and retro things you can’t find anywhere else, from clothes, to gadgets to food. Things like Marshmallow Creme pies, aluminum bread boxes, penny candy, Chuckles, Sen-Sen etc. etc. Which reminds me, I used to get pickled Fiddlehead Figs from them, haven’t had them in years. Now I’m HUNGRY for them. If nothing else, I think you would get a kick out of seeing all the stuff they have!

I have been saddled with a bunch of lazy misfits.

finally, just as I am about to start a movie. Yes Dry we do get Cabot out our way. We on the west coast are big into cheeses so we have a great selection to choose from. I will have to look for habanero as I have not seen it out here. Our loss.
