I was babysitting my nieces and nephew and wanted to watch a horror movie. The last time I had tried that they had nightmares. It was a bad horror movie so I kept making jokes like MST3K. They laffed thru the whole thing, no nightmares. No, I didn’t send them to bed, I never liked getting sent to bed. Not a hypocrite. Was a weekend.

It was rare to connect with a babysitter, who (to a kid) is basically a hired gun, but it did happen once in a while. And how true about some horror flicks. I’m in my fifties and still get a jolt out of them now and then…they can do some great (and scary) CGI these days.

I have not heard a girl called Sandi in forever. Those old school names have seemed to disappear.

House of Wax – my first horror film, and in 3D no less.

I later woke up about 3AM to a cat screaming in the back yard. My older, teen-age cousin, thinking himself funny, screamed back at him. I was still shaking a week later.

It looks like the popcorn is still popping. Or maybe it’s just possessed.
