Hah! I am really enjoying “Frank”!Joel told me this morning after taking a deep pull from the stem of his pipe, that he wanted to tell Skeezix, “I tried to tell you so! He should’a took my up on my offer.” in regards to his offer to help him fix the stove. I ended up having a hazlenut flavored coffee this morning (my wife wanted to try it). Joel had never had hazelnut flavored coffee before, and looked at it a bit askance initially, but warmed up to it. He brought over a pouch of Red Cap pipe tobacco for me to sample with him. I had not seen it in years. It was quite robust!
It’s not hard to buy a stove. I bought a ceramic top about 3 years ago and is the second best stove ever. Three of my cats are named after Skeezix because of this comic strip from the 1930s

“Frank” DOES look a little demented in the last panel!

If they went somewhere else, Frank would show up there, too.

I’m with Skeezic. Leave while you still can. Nina’s asking for trouble.
