Rex can’t wait to get out and stalk some squirrels. For her part, Ginger is not finding any usable beauty tips.

Oh, man, I can hardly wait to go! The tent cinemas are almost like a drive-in, and almost like a private screening. Camp chairs, kibblecorn, a holder for your water dish ….. everything you could want – almost! And Belchertown isn’t too far from here; only a couple of hours as the basset tracks. The only hard part is choosing which movie.

OMG, I wonder what I have to do to get tickets to the Rotty Tailwagger festival!!!

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

I know Rotty will comp his lady fans, Susan, StelBel, Montana, Perky Tigressy and Katina. But that leaves us guys standing in the rain waiting for tickets to become available! Nighthawks, Liver, Farside, Plods, any ideas?

@DennisinSeattle Tailwagger is the director, you are referring to the leading actor who didn’t star in “Star Basset”.

Is there a couch available? “The Thingy” is not for the faint of heart.

Welcome, Cleo pals… and film fans from all over the caniniverse…

to the Rotty Tailwagger Film Festival in Belchertown…

    as advertised in

the June 23rd/em>  2020 “CLEO and COMPANY” on Sherpa!

Some film festivals are steeped in glamor, sprinkled with the glitterati…

a whirl of luxury kennels, and warm summer evenings.

Think of the iconic Cannines Festival…

its night skies lit with strings of twinkling lights…

illuminating the paths to celebrity studded kibble parties on the white sand beaches.

    And then there’s Belchertown…

    with its tents, and mud…

But hey, it’s all about the films, right?

And the free biscuit giveaways… and rubbing noses with the great basset stars like Cleo Clifford, who I’m told will fly in tomorrow, all the way from Cleveland…

Perhaps even meeting famous basset director and producer, the star of this event… Rotty Tailwagger himself…

Though I actually haven’t seen him for a few days.

Maybe he’s already in Belchertown now(!), soaking up the ambiance…

enjoying the recent drizzly weather, with its exciting scent of wet dogs.

Setting up the great kibble tent, where basset stars mingle.

    I can’t wait!

I’m dying to see “Big Trouble in Little Cleveland Again” …

maybe I can meet frequent Tailwagger star Curt “Jack” Russell…

and maybe Goldie Hound will come along!

But once again I think I’ll have to skip “The Thingy.”

I love film festivals! And what better way to spend an evening than with Rotty Tailwagger and his fabulous works of art. I think I’ll just hop from tent to tent to see them all. I’ll get to skip the scary parts that way. See y’all there in a bit. (I’ll sneak enough kibble in my backpack to share)

Good Morning Ballardeers!. Day number 33,204,102 of quarantining my butt in the house and I just discovered that the warning waaaaay down the list of side effects of my newest med is one of mine. Sun rash. OMG! what a pain for 10 minutes outside. I’m wearing SPF85 and a parka next time I go out…

    … in the winter. ARRRRRGH!

Y’all have a better day than me. (((((HUGS)))))

If you go to that film about trouble in Cleveland, watch out for Dobie Gillis and Maynard G. Krebbs. Don’t sit too close to them or they will want you to buy them some popcorn and sodas.
