My advice for somebody who just got hired: When you’re being shown around the place, tell everybody you’re the new O.I.C guy…When they ask what that is, tell them that “When they show me how things work here, and what I’m supposed to do, I say, ‘Oh, I see’….”…..

I hate it when the weather people refer to snow as “the white stuff”…“We can expect a few more inches of the white stuff tomorrow….” Hey, they don’t call rain “the clear stuff”!…Nope, How about “the wet stuff”?….And does “the white stuff” include sleet or is it a separate category? As in " We can expect some of that translucent stuff this evening…"…..Hail? “These storms could contain some marble size translucent pellets.” A clear day of course, is some of that shiny sunny stuff….Hmmmm…..I forgot about fog…Hmmmm,,,“We should have a little of that hazy stuff in the morning”?….
