Kyna had a well-earned reputation for spreading more than dandelion seeds.

A somewhat enlarged image can be found at the only work, by this artist, so far, to appear in Mr. Melcher’s blog (yesterday). Again, it is a slightly cropped image. A full, enlarged image can be found here. What O’Clock Is It? is privately owned. It is shown, with a click-to-enlarge image, and described, by an auction page. The artist’s Wikipedia page and collection.First work, by this artist, to appear here.

Too uncoordinated to walk and look at a flower at the same time.

Thanks, as always, mabrndt, for the information. I couldn’t figure out the title, though, until I looked in the Wiktionary, as below. (I guess as a child nobody taught me to tell time with dandelions, LOL!).

dandelion clock ‎(plural dandelion clocks)1.The white seed head of a dandelion after flowering.2.A children’s amusement in which the number of puffs needed to blow the filamentous achenes from a dandelion is supposed to tell the time.
