Well, yeah, you guys…. but Burl doesn’t run his errands in a company car.
Only, of course, because he doesn’t have a company car.
And the squad car is not only police property…but paid for by the county… from HIS taxes.
What do you want to bet that after this meeting, he tries to get U-Stor-It to get him a company car…. or maybe the county…I mean, he IS a Civil Defense Captain.
And a company gas card, of course.
If that ever happened he’d be taking all his vacation days in Florida.
The Needle is spot on. How do you hold accountable someone who quite literally has life-or-death power over you? My dad had “the talk” with me long ago, and I did the same for my son—and I’m white! This is a serious matter for discussion that is not appropriate for this forum, but one that needs to be held.

Thus guaranteeing a squad car on his tail every time he pulls out of his driveway.

I think this is a rerun from last year. Still funny, though. Typical Burl!

Actually, I think the people in the audience are enjoying that Burl has put the sheriff on the spot. We’ve all seen them do it!
