Because we did not evolve from monkeys, we share a common ancestor.

Where are all the transitional species? Evolution would not just stop. Why is it that all genetic changes are defects causing illness and disaster as opposed to betterment?

I came back later this morning just to see the comments. The anti-evolution and anti-vaccination crowd, usually the same folks, cannot be convinced. No matter the evidence. I used to know a good horse veterinarian who dealt with evolved strains of bacteria and viri (viruses) on a daily basis. He had to keep up with the latest anti-viral, anti-biotic medications to fight the evolved strains. In his words, they just became “resistant.” He said that evolution, and all science is just “a theory.” But yet he had no trouble with a talking snake and a talking donkey and a Magus who knew all the tricks. (A couple of the magic tricks were already documented in Greek magic texts). But yet neither he, nor his wife (a school teacher) could even read the several standard English translations of their holy books. They read “explanation editions”, which were really weirdly mis-explanatory. See? Just like Wiley over in Non Sequiter, I haven’t named anybody. But go look at he war going on over there about an un-named canditate.

If you don’t believe men came from monkeys, take a trip down to the nearest Walmart…
