Rip Haywire: Breezy, I need Cobra's help to fight the rogue Amish. But on the bright side, she smells like musty bovines now and you don't. Breezy: Rip, Cobra always smelled like that! But as long as you brought me some apple butter, we're good.

Here’s the short version:
Rip Haywire ruined the world and had to go back to before it happened and start over.Stuff changed … some good, some bad, but he can never return to the way it was.
I’m not ruling out marriage or children for Rip Haywire… I just had a lot more ideas for Rip before he settled down and changed diapers while knocking out goons.
This is not a dream sequence, or alternate universe.

How did we get through a whole adventure arc involving Cobra without her trying to kill him or otherwise selling Rip out? Been a while since she was that well behaved, even before the whole time recycle.
