Just like most movies. If the characters did the sensible thing, the movie would be over in ten minutes … and boring.

And lassie actually pushed Timmy into the well…every time. Timmy, obviously wasn’t real bright.

Every horror movie starts the same:“Don’t go in the woods”.“Don’t go in the woods”.“Hey, let’s go in the woods”.“Ok” Cue ominous music, cue knife wielding stranger, aaaaannd, CUT.

Night-Gaunt, it might make sense for people with Alzheimer’s….They’re always wandering off….

No need to chip people when we’re all carrying phones that constantly report our location, identity, shopping preferences, and a whole lot more.

“story arc” – There’s an expression that was not in anyone’s vocabulary when I was in grade school! In fact the only place I’ve seen it used is here in the comments.

I’m impressed she actually got someone from the government to come out and do something useful.

Only time I ever called a city about something like that. they said it wasn’t their problem but I could bring it in to be euthanized if I wanted to pay the fee. And that was Animal Control.
