Ziggy: ...I know I've been complaining to you all week about my job. But it's been a really rough week. Do you have any words of comfort?
God: Thank Me It's Friday!
Retired does not mean rusted! Volunteer, get a part time job, or even do what I do…substitute teach. I’ll admit it’s not for everyone and sometimes it really just babysitting, but I truly enjoy being around the kids and teachers.
Thank all of the millions gods that it’s Friday?? Seems like there are better things to do.“He awoke. He was alive. He wasted no time on prayer or thanks but continued the business of survival.” (Alfred Bester)

@Jo Clear (aka: Grasshopper)I am retired. But I find that every day is Saturday. Except Sunday when the fat paper comes. How can you not love that?

Jo Clear: I’ve been on disability for 11 years. I want to find a job, because I could use some time off.

I am retired and I like it!
A friend called me earlier this year and asked me what I was doing. I replied, “Nothing!”
He called me again last week and asked the same question. Again I replied, “Nothing!”
He said, “You told me you were doing nothing the last time I called.”
I replied, “I’m not done yet!”

First long weekend after I retired I felt cheated — it wasn’t any longer than the previous one!
