One of mine got into the duct work and we had to go under the hose and open a pipe so she could escape. She did what Lupin has done and snagged off the cover. What an ordeal.

My boys experienced their first heating episode last week. Not quite as terrifying as the first time they saw the ceiling fan on but they were quite concerned at first. they’ve quickly become heat hogs too :)

My Woodgie parks herself in front of the kitchen and living room vents when the heater kicks in.

My Tabitha loved the heat vents, too. And she hated the fans I run in warmer weather. I miss her, but we had 16 good years.

Heh… my cats are heat hogs too. Fortunately, the vents in my home are tight enough in the openings that they can’t be pulled out by kitty claws.

My heat vents are in the ceiling so that can’t sleep on them, but they know all the good spots to snooze under some of them: on the counter in one bathroom and on the toilet lid in another bathroom.

If you have a small house with only five heating vents and cats are on three or four of them, you don’t get much heat….

I own this comic in a book. I love how lupin was taking off the vent’s lid in the final panel. So funny! I cracked up when I first read this!
