My daughter and I have a booth at the Belmont Street Fair this Saturday. We are between a Kombucha booth and a Chinese massage booth and down from the Wellness Waterbirth Center. Only in Portland! LOL

Hi everyone. Doctor appointment went fine yesterday. If you could call it an appointment. They are now charging me a co-pay. Started while I was in the hospital. This doctor is filling in for my doc so I have never seen him before. He didn’t check my legs, or anything. Asked me why I was there. Told him I needed one more prescription for pain and then I would be done. He didn’t ask what the ortho people have said, how I felt or anything. He filled my meds and hopefully I won’t have to go back. If everything goes well, I will check into going back to my old doctor the first of the year. I just want to get to the 30th and hope they let me drive. I’m like 29palms, walking a lot. Of course, it causes a lot of bone pain in my thighs, but know that it isn’t hurting anything and that my bones will get stronger with time. Not quite walking without canes yet, but doing good with only one. I try to walk without any here in the house. Steps are small, but are getting steadier every day.Right now, I am having problems with the kids. I guess my being gone was harder on them than I thought. Buster is still acting out by picking on Precious and so she has taken to using the shower as her litter box. I went out yesterday and bought a couple of “calming” products. One a collar with cat pheromones, some spray that is supposed to do the same things and of course, stuff to clean the shower. I had moved the cat box to a spot where I could clean it without breaking the 90 degree rule, but I think it will go back where it was. Buster is spending a lot of time yowling and chasing Precious and he has been fixed so that isn’t it. I don’t know if it is the weather or just what. Since we stopped the prednisone, he isn’t pulling his hair as much, so maybe with a little time this behavior will improve also. It is just so hard to deal with hi behavior when I am trying to get myself better. Think good thoughts. Ronnie, we are thinking about you. Well, I need to go scrub a shower. My friend will be here later and she will help me move the box back where it was. Lets hope things start to get better.

No fences Anywhere between my house, and the hills in the background…Have hiked up there numerous times over the years.. No fence on my property either! Fences are for the city-folks that are paranoid. My place is left alone…I have a bad attitude towards thieves, and they know it!

PamGettin’ stronger day by day! Laughed about the Doc. pretty much how my last wellness check went. And now “my” doctor left and when I asked who was taking her place, they said they had hired 5 new Docs and I could choose and if I didn’t like her to choose another!Can I have them in a line-up please! LOL

It took a long time to get them to be so close together. Kudos to jessegooddoggy for her patience and understanding with them. We had hoped it would happen faster because they’re brothers but I guess because they had been apart for so long it was like meeting a stranger for both of them.

Of course. Have fed a few hungry people out here over the years. Have picked up hitchhikers and taken them as far as Needles, after feeding them….Been many years since then..Haven’t seen a hitchhiker on this road for 10 years..

I think there’s something wrong with this picture below, but I can’t quite put my finger on it…….

@armymom3: just caught up reading last night’s posts and I was so sad to hear your sweet Skipper passed. It isn’t easy. Many of us have had to make this decision so our darlings wouldn’t suffer further. Hugs to you, mom, and thinking of you.

Seems to me that both Jellybean and Lily have common sense in their replies!!!! We need more of that! Graham….more Oliver, please.

The Amboy Dukes played at one of my high school dances back in the 60’s. Saw them when they played at a teen club too. They started playing and their amps blew all the fuses in the place. It was awesome! lol >^00^<

@Armymom3- Thank you for the love and care you gave to Skipper for all those years. I’m sorry for your loss. It is wonderful to be loved by a cat!
