Why I chose a dog over other animals. By Red McLean I thought about getting a rhinoceros. Until I remembered they have a large Rumpabuttamass.
I hate to think what the pet food bill would be too.
Having to scoop what that rumpabuttamass left behind sure wouldn’t be fun!
I admire Red’s resourcefulness at finding a rhyme!
What do rhinoceri eat, anyway?
They are also TV hoggers!
And they sit on the remotes!
And they like to stamp out campfires!

I’m relatively new to this strip, but I thought Rover basically “chose” Red when he saved his life…?
