Actually, treesaureus, you not only screwed up the comma used to set off the proper noun, you completely were boneheaded about the point the teacher made. He’s using colloquial language to show the kind of informal speech that the kid would use himself and expects everybody else to use. It’s called “discourse” and it’s appropriate here…
