realistically you’d think Jon would have stopped buying fish/ferns and whatever Garfield can make a snack of as pets. Unless Jon is really a closet bleeep who enjoys this process.
Jon must really love garfield because he keeps buying him such fresh and nutricious snacks.
Garfiled is also quite a humanitarian because he realises that keeping such a big fish in a small bowl is downright cruel.
The origins of Felis cattus might shed some light on that question. What it if were originally a cross-breed between a fishing cat (there are such things) and a hunter cat?
There are SOME cats that enjoy the water. Tigers, for example, and I had a cat when I was young (he was [ironically] named Tiger) who liked to play in the water. I’ve never seen another cat cry at the door to be let out into a deluge, and then go out to “romp” in the rain.

That was a pretty small buffet for Garfield.

Jon is so dumb….”How dumb is he?”
Jon is so dumb, he couldn’t find dirt if he hit the ground.
serenasakitty over 14 years ago
Maybe Jon should give the fish a small drink of nuclear coffee.
Justice22 over 14 years ago
A pat on the back would recover the fish. Garfield has it in his mouth.

GARFIELD! Take the goldfish out of your mouth and put it back in the fishbowl NOW!

LADYWOLF Very unladylike!
ERP!, EXCUSE ME.A sheepish grin and a wipe with a napkin follow. Can a Ladywolf grin like a sheep?

Even though I love cats, I ponder this, if cats hate somuch being in water, why does there favorite food live in it ?

My cat actually doesn’t care for fish too much–upsets her stomach.

And another goldfish bites the dust. Give it up, Jon!
