Good morning/evening to everyone.-————-Thank you all for your kindness during this time of sorrow. My brother’s funeral was yesterday. It was a short service. Mom held up well. God Bless Each of You My Friends. I knew that I could count on you.-————-I’m headed to bed. Have a fruitful day.

My condolences and well wishes to you Starman, Sorry for your loss.29 Palms, I used to live in Palm Springs and I gotta wonder… Are your hands fireproof?Seriously! I have two sets of tools, chrome, and black finished. The first time I tried to pick up a shiny wrench that had spent a few minutes in the summer sunshine… OUCH! Holy Cats that bugger is HOT! I quickly made a little cardboard sun shelter for my tools and put the black ones away for winter where they will become handy dandy hand warmers come the colder weather.My 3/4 socket wrench was 200 degrees! that is nuts!I also kept a bucket of water handy for dousing the untouchable. I don’t know how you work outside in the summer there.IN the kitchen I can take 140-160 degree water for an extended length of time and hotter temps for a few seconds at a time.

Enjoy your Friday, everybody! Pulled out the couch today to clean behind and under and discovered no less than 26 assorted cat toys. Yum Yum is in kitty heaven, and several have already found their way back under the couch.

Orange Kitty could be Ruby’s Chesney, he and Blue both love to go in the bedroom and annoy her. I see from the picture Queen posted yesterday that I need to paint my living room door! Temps should be 15 degrees cooler next week (Hooray!!) so I will add it to my chore list for fall. I hope everyone has a peaceful Friday, especially Ronnie.

I must be lucky. My cats normally only get cranky with each other and only one cat get cranky with the others. Her problem is jealously over me. She is such a sweetheart with me but doesn’t want any other cat to be able to have my attention. I’m trying to break her of this but no luck so far.

Thanks! Too bad I’m not ready to go back to work yet…Going berserk, ’till hip heals enough to work long hours again!

My cousin in Boston has been fostering a pair of kittens both with health issues and sadly one went over the rainbow bridge today. He was a tuxedo and she had named him Seiji after the former Boston Symphony conductor. So sad. His life was just beginning. But I know she showed him plenty of love.

Cranky, irascible and testy: isn’t that the definition of a cat? If you want something else, get a dog.

Dear ‘Concerned’ (Annie)…and you REALLY thought you could fool Chesney? He is the epitome of cranky!!!! Now, will we have Dear Mr. Soames tomorrow?

The kittens arrived about 5:30, along with 3 extra kittens. There are 3 siblings – one black and 2 grey/white tabbies. The little black one was just marching around the room like he owned the place. They must be exhausted from their day because I have not heard a single, meow, mew or jingle ball in 4 hours.
