Failure is just success rounded down…Does the reverse statement hold true, too? Can I eat pie on Month 22, day 7?How about on the 314th day of the year? That’s right around Halloween – can we eat candy-flavored pie then?
“I feel a profound disconnect with this holiday!”Especially seeing that you missed it by almost a month, T-Rex.(I know, I know, it’s a dated rerun, I just couldn’t pass up the chance to observe that).
Today is not Pi Day. Isn’t that a good theme for a strip? Not 364 days a year (not 365 days this year), but let’s say: once. Possibly to be rerun on another day, but let’s pick another day that is also not Pi Day for the rerun….

Sometimes we overrate precision: as Voltaire put it, we make the best the enemy of the good. Good enough is almost always good enough.

I wonder if they had a pi day on March 14, 1592.
