Can marty do anything correctly? When he cooks he practiclly sets the house on fire. He can barely run. When he drove nate to a soccer game, it was the wrong destination.
It’s actually easier to cut yourself with a dull blade, because the force required to use it makes it harder to control, and when it slips it comes down with more force.

A sharp knife is safer, you don’t need as mush effort to cut with it, with a dull knife you must work harder, and the knife may get caught, then slip.
