As a Zero Population Growth Advocate is it PC for me to joke at people who think their bodies are made to reproduce endlessly? If I say “Don’t Breed em if you can’t Feed them” do people who rely on my tax dollars take offence. I hope so. Gays are hip, they don’t worsen our population woes.
US Census predicts 100’000’000 more people in the US by 2040. Hope they get jobs. Hope they can eat. If you have a kid today, they are going to have one hundred million more competitors for a job when they’re 30. Enjoy your unprotected sex. Hope it was worth it.

Most of those 100 million new people will be immigrants. The U.S. has virtually no natural increase, deaths almost match births, ZPG. These new people are on average younger then native born Americans, and can work more. Social Security and Medicare can be kept going longer than if we didn’t allow (legal) immigration. They will likely produce more jobs than they take, just by living and consuming. Competition is good for everyone except the lazy and stupid.
