As Boyd would later recount, “It was hard to tell if his handshake was warm and moist - or if it was just the steam coming off the Swedish meatballs that made it seem that way.”

LOL - It took me 15 seconds to realize that they weren’t introducing themselves. After that it became funny!

JOE I must admit I never searched for a fashion designer. I walk into Brooks, the clerk eyeballs me, “44”, 32”, 32” , and leads me to a rack of conservative suits. Been just like that for 35 years, but I guess I don’t try to impress with displays of wealth I may not be able to afford.. Like a man’s masculinity made in Detroit, overdressing may be a sign.

I’m so glad I’m introducing you all to new worlds ;-) Tom Ford is the former creative lead of the House of Gucci and now does his own line of high-fashion clothing. I’m sure everyone knows Hugo Boss, and they have a manufacturing operation and offices here in Cleveland. Happy Holiday Weekend, everyone!

LOL! I have to go clothes shopping this weekend, and it is a depressing and dreaded event. I seem to have expanded in the waistline over the past few years… :(

I plan on starting a new trend, as in getting by with a shirt and tie instead of a suit!

JWF - Introduce what you like, it’s your comic. Just don’t worry too much as people who object to having homosexuality rammed down their throats abandon you in droves. Right now buddy, you would have more chance of convincing me to fly to the moon than to take up what turns you on.

JOE, JOE, JOE Sorry I offended but I never met a man who knew about men’s fashion designers. Did you read it in GQ, or see it on Oprah or the View? I can’t imagine where someone would gain that info. NYT? The Nation?I know, Village Voice (Do you get it by Pony Express? Young, thin, strong sweaty men stepping off big horses. Oooh!)

Glad you can wear designer Western wear, but people who are not so close to meeting their creator wear a uniform to business. It’s called a suit and tie. At least they do on the East Coast where men wield power by brains not brawn. Perhaps in E. Podonk they are non-conformists and on Friday the heart surgeon wears a mu-mu.

took reading a couple of comments for me to get it as i am not at all into fashion. have owned one suit in the last 20 years or so and it was certainly not a designer label. different people have different interests and lifestyles. as to stereotypes, i have known gay men with even less fashion consciousness than myself.

Joe-Allen “Joe” Doty: Okay. We know EVERYTHING there is to know about you. Maybe a new hobby could occupy some of your time.

Late to comment on this strip, but I think Bangalee is a little too obsessed with getting things rammed down his throat. No one forced him to click on the strip, to read it, or to comment. Take your narrow view of reality and inflict it upon your own family who don’t know any better.
