@Queen: Hope today finds you feeling better. I too noticed how discombobulated your comments have been during your sickest moments….understandable. We have another heat wave…but no/low humidity. No more rain in the forecast. Hope Brad and all the fosters (plus Moose, Casper and Scooter) are looking after you.

    Hello – I’m baaack…

No drugs today at all. Just a tad coughy, no stuffiness. Went to town for my hair appointment because I’m not germy any more.

Madame Lightning is now comfortable enough to be a pest.

No more hiding for her. I hope she does ok at PetCo tomorrow. And, I REALLY hope some of the kittens get forever homes.

I met two women on pogo last night; one fosters cats and quilts. She wanted to know all about the kitty mats/pads I make because would like to make some. I sent her pictures and offered to send her one so she can see it. The other has cats and also wanted to know about the mats.

We’ll get people all over the US making them for shelters!

Dry, what awful news, my good friend lost her 60 year old son last week from Epilepsy. He had had 18 seizures in one day and the Dr’s said they couldn’t help him anymore, He elected to take his own life. A horrible tragedy for both families. Your children aren’’t supposed to die before us.

Hi gang:Have been busy. Went with a friend yesterday to the Gem and Mineral show here in Denver. I took the four wheeled walker so I could sit down when I got tired. I was on my feet walking and standing for close to 2 and 1/2 hours before I got tired enough to sit. I was really worried that I had overdone. I guess I didn’t because I’m not hurting that much today. I have been doing my exercises and walking with friends as much as possible. I am still careful about my restrictions, but do push as much as I think I can get away with. There are so many things that I want to do, but know that some of them will have to wait. I have a doctor’s appointment in two weeks and really hope they will let me drive after that. I have been making progress as far as movement is concerned and I’m not taking as much pain meds. I can walk without even a cane, but I am really careful and only do that here around the house. My butt muscles are still complaining because I am having to relearn how to walk. I have “lurched” for so long, they don’t know what a step is. It still takes longer to do some things, but as time goes by, I am getting better about just everyday ordinary things. It is a whole new different world. Friends have been great about keeping me busy. I have had a lot of phone calls and visits along with going places like yesterday. Now that I can actually go places with them, my friends are trying to keep me busy.Thank you all for thinking about me. Will try to keep in better touch. Just so busy that the days seem to get away from me. It really is a different world than pre-surgery.

THANKS GWEEDO! If you are a praying man, pray for them please!

Maybe you can be glad you aren’t a parent. There are so many joys being a parent, and sadly, sometimes way more pain than a person should endure.
