What? I’m first? Happy Friday to all.

The website only updated an hour and a half later than usual. I think a lot of people gave up and went to work. Second time in a week that the site has been very late updating. :(

Wow, I’m third in line! Everyone have a wonderful Friday!

I woke up yesterday to a cellulitis infection in my left leg. It is red, swollen, hot and sore! I went to the local urgent care and got a scrip for Cipro which usually takes care of it in two weeks or so. While checking in I found out my height has shrunk over the years from 6’4" to 6’2". I also got the dreaded letter from the Feds wanting me to make a decision about Medicare and Medicare part B plans. What a nice day it was.

Heading out to set up for a fundraiser for a fallen officer at the gun range today. It is the End of Watch Foundation. The match is tomorrow but all the volunteers and staff can pay and shoot today so tomorrow runs smoother. Hope everyone has a good weekend. My day will start bright and early tomorrow., but I’ll try to check in in TC and friends before I go.

I gave up last nite and went to bed. Husband’s 60th high school reunion is today at 2pm. You can tell we are all old ‘cause the reunions used to be a night with dancing etc. Now it’s a lunch so everyone can drive home in daylight, SighAnd so it begins

We used to have one of those, our kitten reacted exactly the same way!

Dry, I am late as usual on catching up on the comments. I am sorry to hear of your co-worker’s loss of their son. I can’t imagine how horrible it must for them and all who knew him. I’ll keep them in my prayers.

I told you about Hopscotch aka Hoppy, our tail-less Manx cat the other day.

This cat was also featured on a coin.

Dear Graham…my son actually stepped in a very fresh hairball this morning. Today’s strip brings back the memory of it (and his exclamation which some neighbors probably heard).

@Queen: Awaiting good news (tomorrow) that there were many adoptions at PetCo and that Lightning was among them.

Just one kitten adopted today – the little black loudmouth. However, there were 2 people who got there after Susan was packed up and had kittens in the car who said they would return in the morning.

She dropped my 5 off and I took the 4 carriers into the kitten room and let them out. I shooed them away from the door so I could put the carriers out, then I scooted out.

I went to the kitchen for a bottle of water and when I looked down, there was one of them just wandering around, scoping it out like she owned the place. She must have snuck out before I got the door closed.

She was NOT happy when I scooped her up and put her back in the kitten room.
