In the 1960’s my mom needed to make money to add to the household income..She sold World Book Encyclopedias and Avon products door to door. In our little town we had all sorts of door to door salesmen..Fuller brushes, magazines and twice a year this little old sock salesman would show up at our door..I would ask him inside the house to talk because he had fascinating stories to tell.
