Just make it clear that the appointment is in the Doctor’s office, not Grim’s office.

I think a reading of the parable of the Good Samaritan is called for here.

Well, that time until the next checkup seems a short, considering how much work there is around. Maybe religious conflict can work to speed that.

Looking at this comic… The Dr. looks to be in his late fifties. So by scheduling a follow-up appointment with Mr. Death Grimreaper thirty years in the future, the doctor has possibly assured himself a life into his eighties.

A dollar spent on screening and “preventative” medicine, like regular checkups as we age, not only leads to longevity, but reduces long-term costs when things go wrong, by many, many dollars.

When my daughter the RN moved to New Zealand, they thought the medical “taxes” were high. Now that they’ve had a baby with $40 out of pocket, instead of the thousands (like $30,000) it would have been in the U.S.. Her observation now as to the “weakness” in the N.Z. system is NOT ENOUGH spent on preventative screening!! Catching disease or problems like cardiac early, saves HUGE amounts in treatment.

Living longer isn’t the only benefit, it also means that while “cheating” death, we’re also living much better!

Having paid for group insurance for years, now going through treatment and going to have a surgery, and seeing those statements coming in that state my obligation after my insurance kicks in, is usually “0”, ain’t a bad thing after all.

You guys who wanted Obamacare so that everyone in America could afford insurance won, and now everyone can afford their healthcare. We’re living the dream. So why do you want to keep poking the hornet’s nest after you won the argument and now everyone is thriving? We conservatives are duly mortified that everyone’s health problems have been solved and everyone’s health care costs have gone way down due to Obamacare. Why? Because we’re basically just evil and want everyone to die.

It’s so nice to see that social Darwinism is alive and well in conservative America.-You who preach “Social Darwinism” (as far as I’m concerned, that just means “law of the jungle”) probably wouldn’t last a week in such a system. So shut up already.

So do I understand correctly that Egrayj wants to build his own universities to train doctors to work in the hospital(s) he builds to care for his medical problems alone?
