Chesney, you need at least an hour to eat three meals, use the cat box, cough up a hair ball, and stretch. More if you need to torment Annie.

What is with the bar code on the Prison News? Does Chesney want to sell papers? That cat is something else! I like the part “with a kiss to each” ! Chesney just doesn’t understand affection…

OH, those poor poor kitties!

Morning all. Yesterday’s fundraiser was a success. I am wiped out though. I was on my feet on concrete for 8 hours and I know better. I was for a great cause. The money goes to police officers families when the officer is killed in the line of duty. The event went so well they asked if they can have it at our facility again next year.

LadyKat-Sorry for your loss. Friends are hard to come by and their loss is harder yet.

@QueenofAmerica – and others who asked about my knee – the doctor said I can expect periodic flare-ups. The pain has faded down to simply a mild discomfort, which I can cope with. I’ve only had to take 1 Tylenol 3 so far and am wearing my knee brace during the day.@Gweedo – we worked together for several years and kept up the friendship afterwards. We used to message on line several times a day and talk on the phone every couple of weeks and get together about once a month.

Chesney and Co…….23 hours is TOO long to sleep. However, it is ultra cute that Warden Annie can kiss and hug you ‘at will’.

I let the babies out for a good run around the house. Poor Scooter is afraid of them so kept running to find a place to hide. When he found one, a kitten found him so he was off and running again. I finally opened a bedroom door for him and Casper then closed it.

Moose was good with them. He would pounce on one and lick its head or smack it if it tried to grab his tail.

Anyway, they all had a good run and are now back in their room for the night.

Came back from my friends sons viewing tonight. Tomorrow we close the office and go to the funeral. Such a sweet young man should NOT EVER have died at the age of 24.

Had a really bad bout of acid reflux today, I was so afraid I wouldn’t be able to go to the viewing. I kept praying and praying to God and Saint Blaise, I know some of you don’t believe in prayer, but I do. I felt like my old self again within 2 hours, my hubby and sons said I had the bout due to my nerves. This time I think they may be right.

As Ronnie, Starman would say, those of you who pray, pray for them please! Any of you who are parents, can only begin to imagine their grief!

Rose’s posting came through, Gweedo’s did not.
