Little Scruffy really hates Neal ever since Neal yelled Bad Dog and scared the bejeebers out of him.Scruffy was eating his shoe at the time, with Neal still in it.

Maybe Buster is giving you some advice about your wardrobe.

Scruffy also thinks Neal is an idiot. A cowboy idiot, but an idiot nonetheless.

Neal is seriously considering riding off into the sunset.

Checkered clothes drive dogs absolutely nuts ! ( And I confess, I’m not too fond of them myself. )

Many moons ago, listening to Car Talk on NPR, a caller phoned in to ask for advice about a used car he had recently bought. The first question the Tappet Brothers asked him was whether the salesman was wearing plaid pants.

Surely Neal knows the dog’s owner, and whom to sue…

Checkered pants ought to be outlawed. Except where checker boards are in short supply. Then, a pair of checkered shorts might come in handy. Or long pants, for a longer game.
